Anchoring Into Confidence & Reclaiming Your Power
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this episode, we explore what real confidence actually is and why so many people stay disconnected from their power despite doing “all the work.” True confidence comes from internal safety, self-trust, and alignment, not external validation or hustle.
When you stop adapting to environments that shrink you and start anchoring into who you truly are, clarity sharpens, standards rise, and your decisions become cleaner and more grounded.
This conversation is an invitation to reclaim your power from the inside out and lead your life from a place of steadiness and self-trust.

Presence Over Posting
SPEAKER_00Welcome back to Aligned and Alive. If you've noticed, I went quiet for a couple of days for those of you who always show up on my daily podcast. And it was intentional. I was actually traveling. I went to Vegas, a place that I do not love going to, by the way. I'm not a Vegas person. However, I am a Sebastian Manascalco person. I love comedy. I love to laugh. And so hopped over to Vegas for 24 hours and saw a show. And I was guest podcasting as well. So that's where I've been. I will drop a Sunday Soul Drop sometime this week. So all is well. I was choosing just to be present rather than rushing content out the
What Confidence Really Is
SPEAKER_00door. And that choice actually ties into today's episode on anchoring into confidence and reclaiming your power. Confidence isn't something you wake up one day and you decide, okay, I'm super confident, or you're done doubting yourself. It's something you anchor into by showing up for yourself every single day, doing what you say you're going to do, something that takes place internally before anything shifts on the outside. It doesn't come from certainty, it comes from self-trust. When you trust yourself, when you stop needing constant confirmation that you're doing it right, you move, you decide, you just don't collapse every time something feels uncomfortable. You keep showing up for yourself. That's how you build confidence and you tune out the outside noise, the opinions of others, the judgments of others. Like that no longer takes precedence in your life. And this is something I personally have shifted through in my own life. You cannot keep giving over your power to every single small moment that happens every single day and throughout the course of the week. You don't override your knowing
Stop Outsourcing Your Power
SPEAKER_00to keep the peace. Like there's you know when you know when you know, right? Like so many of us, myself included, over the years, have just overridden those red flags that were shown in our face. Like we ignore it, we we push it aside and we make excuses why something happened, right? But in your heart and your entire being, you know. And this is something that you cannot keep ignoring. Don't second guess the decisions that already felt super clear. Don't look outward for constant approval or validation. That will keep you stuck and stagnant your entire life. When you keep outsourcing everything, when you just hand over your power to everyone else, over time, that is going to create an immense amount of self-distrust. And self-distrust is what makes confidence unreachable. You will never feel fully confident. So we're going to reclaim your power. And that starts by building trust in yourself.
The Freedom Of Saying No
SPEAKER_00It looks like honoring the quiet, that little no inside of you instead of explaining it away. I've mentioned this to a few of my clients. You can say no kindly. You don't have to people please your way through life. No, that's not going to work for me. That's a no for me. You can say this directly with full confidence. And the more no's that you get comfortable saying in your life, the more freedom you're going to experience. I'm now in the mindset of it really, truly, fully has to be a heck yes for me to do something because I know the time, energy, and all the things that I pour into my work, into my friendships, my environment. I know what that looks like. So in order for me to show up in the best possible way, I have to say no to a lot of things. And so I've gotten really good at saying no without explaining it all
Letting Opinions Go
SPEAKER_00away. And another way to rebuild trust in yourself is allowing yourself to be misunderstood without rushing to correct the narrative. Let people be. They are going to always have opinions and judgments about you. So what? It doesn't matter. When you know who you are, outside opinions lose their grip. This doesn't mean people are going to stop having opinions. They will always have opinions. They will always cast judgment. It just means they no longer determine your direction in life. I felt this so much last year. And to get to the point where I'm at now took a moment of solitude and stillness to sharpen my vision, to get to where I know I don't need outside approval to show up in what I believe. That doesn't matter to me anymore. I have a very tight inner circle. I have an incredible team
Tight Inner Circle And Faith
SPEAKER_00of people that I surround myself with. And that is what matters to me. And of course, my relationship with God. Like that's it. I don't, it doesn't matter to me anymore. This is a life that I am squeezing the most out of. And along the way, when you start climbing and building the thing you love the most, when you are so passionate and led in your calling, people are going to try to tear you down all day long. It's just part of the process. And so when you can sink and lean into a very tight, healthy inner circle and you have a deep relationship with Jesus, things change. Like it really does. It shifts almost instantly. And you just stop outsourcing. You stop outsourcing everything. You stop giving away your power. And each time you do that, something anchors. Your nervous system learns that you are safe with yourself.
Confidence As A Nervous System State
SPEAKER_00And this is important because confidence isn't just a mindset. It's really a nervous system state. When your body trusts that you can handle the outcome of your choices, you stop hesitating so much. You stop scanning constantly for approval. And you even stop racing for rejection. You just become so much more present, grounded, and decisive in all the things you do. That's power returning to the body. Anchored confidence changes how you move through the world. You too will begin to tighten your inner circle naturally, not out of fear, but out of just clarity. Like you get so crystal clear on who you surround yourself with. You stop chasing validation because you're no longer disconnected from yourself. And you begin choosing environments and relationships and opportunities that reflect who you actually are. It happens
Living Your Standards Everywhere
SPEAKER_00as a result of alignment. You don't need to force anything. And this is something I've lived. The more I anchored into my own values, faith, and standards, the less energy I spent managing perceptions. I stopped explaining myself to people who weren't even walking with me. And I became more comfortable letting my life speak for itself, what I embody, not just preach about or, you know, in theory, like I come from lived experience. When I was in Vegas this weekend, you know, I'm, as I mentioned, I'm not a fan of Vegas at all. However, I love the comedy show. And that's the reason for going. I still went to bed at 10 o'clock, woke up bright and early at five, got a workout in the gym. Why did I do that in Vegas? Because it's what I embody, it's who I am. It doesn't matter where I am in the world. I will still make those morning workouts happen. And it's a part of me. And people think, oh, when you go to Vegas, you're just going to drink a lot and gamble and all these things. Like, no, that's not true. I went to Vegas and had a great clean, fun time. So, you know, I mean, it's who you are always, not just when it's convenient. Like, this is just who I am. So when you're anchored into knowing who you are and you have those standards, you just let people be, honestly. It really is. Like, I just let my life speak for itself. And it made me
Scan Your Environment
SPEAKER_00experience so much more peace. That's the best way I can describe it, is just this overwhelming sense of peace that is now in my life that I've never had before. It's a calm confidence. It's not loud. It's not ego. It's just this peace I have. And it's so much more enjoyable and delicious when you can move through life this way. So I encourage you to start scanning around and looking at your environment more importantly. You know, not everything that looks love and light is love and light. I can tell you that right now. So get real clear on the people in your inner circle specifically. Like that's going to be a telltale sign on how your life is going to unfold.
Retreat Invitation And Details
SPEAKER_00And this is the work that we will be doing inside of the April retreat in Paradise Valley, Arizona that we launched last week is reclaiming your power, is building that self-trust, going deep within, and having you work through a lot of blockages that you still may be experiencing. It could be a money block, it could be a relationship block, like whatever you have going on, it's always tied to that inner core. You can spend four days and invest in yourself and start reshaping yourself, your identity at the core, releasing subconscious blocks that are holding you back. You can literally recreate new neural pathways and the way you show up for yourself every single day. When you build yourself from the inside out, your exterior reality will shift. So this is so much more than just holding hands in a circle or you know, feeling good. Like, yeah, that's all nice and beautiful. But getting to the root is the most important process when you can truly shift your entire reality and how you show up in the world. Imagine that living life with zero blocks, being super decisive in your decision making, having a crystal clear clarity on your next steps in your life. That is a calm confidence and a sense of peace that nobody can strip away from you, regardless of what's going on on the outside, regardless of the noise that is taking place day after day after day, you don't become ruffled. You just merely keep showing up in your calling and what you're here to do. And so if you are a person that knows you have this desire to do more in life, that you want to rise and you want to rise with an intimate community that are also in that same energy and space, then this is a retreat to consider this April. It's going to be April 6th through the 9th. It's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and a half day on Thursday. This will shift the way you show up in the world and more importantly for yourself. So if you're ready to anchor into that level of confidence and reclaim your power from the inside out, you will find the details and application link in the show notes. Just click on that. It'll take you right to the page explaining my background, who I am, where I've been, what I do, and also the facilitators and coaches that are joining me. Annalie Howling from the UK is an incredible woman. Tracy O'Malley, also, she lives here in Arizona, phenomenal human being. And I have Carrie Baelou, which I mentioned on a previous episode, and doing

SPEAKER_00moment. And if this is where we depart, may your day be grounded and guided. Heavenly Father, thank you for the strength that comes from self-trust. Thank you for the quiet confidence that grows when we honor what we already know. Help us come back into alignment with ourselves and a deeper relationship with you, guiding us, holding us, lighting our path. Help us to stop abandoning our inner guidance for approval and teach us how to move forward to be grounded, steady, and led by truth. In Jesus' name. Amen.
