In this week’s Sunday Soul Drop, we explore what it really means to surrender — not as passivity, but as strength. When we release control over outcomes and stay open to the unfolding, we create space for miracles.

You’ll be invited to:

• Release the timeline
• Quiet the internal pressure
• Re-anchor in faith

Setting The Scene In Scottsdale

SPEAKER_00

Welcome back to Aligned and Alive and another Sunday cell drop. I cannot believe it's March 1st. Oh my goodness. The birds are chirping. It's absolutely beautiful outside here in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Redefining Surrender As Strength

SPEAKER_00

And today I'm going to talk about surrender and expecting the miracle. Because surrender has really been misunderstood. It's not about giving up. It doesn't mean you become passive and it doesn't mean that you stop showing up. True surrender is strength. It's continuing to act while releasing control. It's doing your part while trusting God with the outcome.

Trust, Faith, And Miracles

SPEAKER_00

It's planting the seeds and not digging them up every five minutes to see if they're growing. Surrender is trust in motion, trusting the unfolding, even when you cannot see the full picture. There is something powerful that happens when we stop forcing and we start trusting. We create space, and space is where miracles enter. Miracles don't respond to panic, they respond to faith. Not wishful thinking, not hoping maybe someday. No, it's anchored in peaceful assumption that it has already happened, of abundance, healing, provision, and breakthrough.

Scripture And The Nature Of Good Gifts

SPEAKER_00

The Bible says in James 1:17, every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Every good gift, not some, every. So, if it is good, if it brings peace, if it restores, if it heals, and if it multiplies, it comes from him. And perhaps the miracle isn't something you have to chase. No, it's something you prepare your heart to receive.

Guided Breathwork To Release Control

SPEAKER_00

So at this time, let's soften, let's take a nice deep breath in and exhale fully, closing your eyes for just a moment, and just allowing yourself to be here fully present right now, releasing any fears, anxiety, any tension that you may be carrying at this moment. And just take a slow inhale in and a gentle exhale out. And picture yourself releasing the tight grip. Picture yourself letting go, fully releasing, surrendering, just giving it over. The timeline, the need to control every detail.

Prayer For Trust And Expectancy

SPEAKER_00

And just feel what happens in your body when you shift from striving to trusting, to allowing, to receiving. This is the state you want to be in. It's a state of flow, it's a state of trust. And just be open to receive the miracle. For friendship strengthening, for healing unfolding in ways we could never orchestrate on our own. Teach us to surrender with confidence, to trust without anxiety, and to expect without fear. Remind us that every good and perfect gift comes from you. Anchor our hearts in faith, not in worry. We release control and we receive your peace. We thank you in advance for the miracles unfolding in our lives. In Jesus' name. Amen.
