Sound As Medicine Preview

SPEAKER_03

Most people still don't understand the power of sound. It can be used for stress, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic pain. Any disorder in the body has a root cause in disharmony. Every component of the human body has a frequency. Sound is such a powerful ancient modality to undo and heal practically any kind of damage.

Why Carrie Bailey Matters

SPEAKER_00

Welcome back to Aligned and Alive. Before I formally introduce my guest today, I want to share with you why she's sitting in this room. I've been attending her sound healing classes for years, and not as a host or a collaborator, although we will speak on that later in this episode, yet as a student and as someone who truly values what she creates. And she's also been a very big supporter of the Aligned Live podcast. And she was here at the Good Vibe Studios a couple of years ago for our live podcast event. And in a world where the healing space can sometimes feel noisy, performative, or even deceptive, where we've seen integrity slip, smoke and mirrors, marketing replacing depth, oftentimes, I have a profound respect for her values. She leads with consistency, with humility, and with integrity. And that all matters. It's an honor to welcome Carrie Bailey to the show. She is the founder of Shanti Sound here in Scottsdale, Arizona. And today we're talking about what it means to do this work without performance, without illusion, and without selling something you don't embody. We're talking about integrity in action and so much more. So stay with us. Carrie, welcome. Thank you. I'm so glad we finally made this happen. We've been talking about this for years.

From Corporate Success To Burnout

SPEAKER_00

And for those listening, before Carrie founded Shanti Sound, she spent decades in the corporate world. Yes. So you've you've seen it all. And you strike me as somebody who doesn't just impulsively pick up and leave. Like you have a plan. That's how I've always seen you as. And so when you were in that previous chapter, did you always know that you'd leave, or did something have to collapse first? No, I didn't at all.

SPEAKER_03

Um I would say that there was an underlying question in my mind during all of those years that I was grinding away in different corporate jobs of what am I doing here and why am I doing this? And isn't there some way that I can serve? And so that was always in the back of my mind. Like, how can I give back? How can I serve? Because I didn't feel like I was doing that in any of the job environments that I was in, even though they might some of them have been service-based. Um, it didn't feel it just felt like a job. It felt like survival. It felt like going to work every day and and collecting paychecks because that's what you needed to do to survive and climb the ladder, I suppose you'd say. And for those that aren't aware, what was your position in the corporate world? I had a variety of different positions. Generally, marketing and advertising was most of my career, um, with the little stints here and there in life insurance, estate planning. But it wasn't until 2008 when the big market crash happened that all advertising and marketing jobs disappeared. So I transitioned into the construction industry. Um, worked for a commercial flooring company, made my way into a project management position at a construction project management firm, which was completely out of the realm of anything that I had done before or had any experience with. But I found that I was able to be pretty versatile when I needed to make changes and fit into a new environment. So that was when the stress in my life really started to amplify and accelerate and become unmanageable.

SPEAKER_00

And so at that point, what did you do to start seeking out that next step to heal, to deal with the stress that was coming up for you?

The First Sound Bath Breakthrough

SPEAKER_03

First of all, I did not know anything about meditation. I thought I was one of those people who didn't know how to meditate because I lived with so much suppressed stress and anxiety. While on the surface, of course, I was going about my day making it look like I wasn't suffering from those things. I didn't have any experience or knowledge about anything in the holistic healing world other than I was doing a lot of yoga. The rest of it was truly self-medicating. It wasn't until I think it was about nine years ago now, that I was on a quick vacation to LA and I had reconnected with a childhood friend who had moved out there to get healthy. She'd had a lot of health challenges over the year, uh years, multiple years. And she and I were talking about her road to recovery and her road back to health. And she said, Have you ever had a sound bath? And I said, No, but I was willing to do anything. I was willing to try anything because she said that those and discovering sound healing had been a tremendous part of her recovery and her road back to health and happiness. And she said, Honestly, I don't know how successful I would have been on this journey without it.

SPEAKER_00

It's powerful for those who haven't experienced it. Do you ever feel that there's um a little too much woo-woo attached to it for those that don't really understand the like neurological benefits, you know, what it really does for the nervous system?

SPEAKER_03

Well, I think we still live in a society that generally thinks that anything that's outside what they don't understand is is woo-woo. For sure. But for me personally, I, although as I mentioned, I didn't know about holistic healing modalities and I hadn't dove into them. I was always fascinated by astrology growing up. I, in the last, say, 15, 20 years of my life, I consulted with tarot readers for guidance. So there was a part of me that was always seeking guidance, um, whether it was through prayer or through church, but also through other means too. So those were parts of me and where I found some guidance that I could I could get that that resonated with me. I think most people still don't understand the power of sound. And um, and it wasn't until I started studying it myself that a whole awakening process happened and a whole new realm of understanding and really relief came over me because when I started understanding the power of this and I understood um the physics behind it and the science behind it, which is how I deliver it to a lot of people that would consider it to be woo-woo as you ex you characterized it, I will back it with science a lot because for those people out there who don't understand and embrace the things that that you and I do as part of our daily lives, I will I'll give them the science.

SPEAKER_00

And that's what I love about you so much. So Carrie does, she breaks it down really crystal clear on exactly what it does for you. So let's take some time to inform the listeners and viewers exactly what happens in a sound bath.

SPEAKER_03

Well,

The Science Behind A Sound Bath

SPEAKER_03

first, it is designed to drop the brainwave state out of alert consciousness and into meditation. It can be used for anything. It can be used for stress, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic pain, um, any disorder in the body has a root cause in disharmony. And that is the that's that's what sound healing is about. When we understand that we are made up entirely of energy, just like the universe around us, then we learn through the the language of sound healing that every component of the human body has a frequency. Even the brain chambers have different frequencies than one another. Every single particle of the human body has a frequency. And Edgar Casey said you can think of disease as a form of disharmony. And what is going on in the body when we have blockages in the chakras, when we have vibrations somewhere internally that have lost their resonance, become blocked, or essentially gone out of tune, then that is when people start to have symptoms, whether they're physical or mental or emotional. What I also came to learn is that those trapped emotions and those neural pathways that are created in childhood from traumas that we go through early in life, um, unstable households, which I was a product of, those behavior patterns are also the result of neural pathways that were created by the conditioning that you were exposed to and that became your normal at a very early age, which, as you know, as we grow up, forms your personality and how you're going to be in relationships and how you're going to relate to the world around you. And is the world a safe place? And are people and relationships safe places? So sound is such a powerful ancient modality to undo and heal practically any kind of damage, whether it's something that happened to a person physically or something that is helping to rewire the neural pathways in the brain to get them out of those painful, repetitive things that that can tend to repeat themselves by the behaviors that we that we grew up with that became our normal.

SPEAKER_00

Everything you just stated right now, I don't feel like enough practitioners really speak to that. And that's what I love about your education with it. Like you go so much deeper than just hitting some bowls and creating some sound. And it's so intentional. And what I love so much about the practice is when we now incorporate the sound plus either like a guided meditation or hypnosis, which is what you and I will be collaborating on at my Paradise Valley retreat this April. Super exciting. But it speaks to what you just said. I mean, now we can really get into the nervous system and start interrupting all those patterns and programming that we've been holding on to, not just up here mentally, yet physically inside of our bodies. And so when you don't disrupt that, as you know, it creates dis-ease in the body. So along those lines, what do you recommend for somebody who's looking to maybe start their own healing journey and going down this as a practice part of that? Do you recommend once a week? Do you recommend, you know, taking it once a month? What does that typically look

Building Shanti Sound As A Practice

SPEAKER_00

like?

SPEAKER_03

I can speak from my own experience that after my friend recommended that I try a sound bath, I found one on my yoga schedule one weekend and I signed up for it immediately. And I didn't know what to expect. And that was the moment of transformation for me because I had one of those experiences that was a truly before and after moment. I walked in there with all of that toxic soup in my mind and walked out of the room feeling completely different. And all of the things that had been swimming around in my mind, all the worry and the anxiety, and um I call it toxic soup, and it really was because there's no better way to characterize it. It's just the sum of everything you've been carrying around for so long that I had been carrying around for so long, it just disappeared. And I sat on the floor and I thought, what it just happened. So I didn't have any really severe physical ailments or illnesses. I went in there to try to cope. And that is what I had told therapists that I'd gone to before. I said, I just want a way to cope with everything. For me and for those people listening out there that are searching for something because the antidepressants aren't a long-term solution. Um, maybe you're not able to see your therapist as often as you would like to. Maybe no matter what you're doing to try and alleviate the sadness, the depression, the anxiety, the repetitive thoughts. For me, this is what did it. For many people that come in that have never done it before, they have the same experience that I did. What I would like to share with everybody is at least try it. Because you might just have an experience like I did. And that's why I took this huge risk and I opened Shanti Sound because the bottom line for me is if it can do what it did for me in one hour, then everybody needs to know about this. And it has changed everything, everything about my life. And how many years are you going on now? Well, I got certified in 2019. So seven years ago, I had just started school, and that's seems so incredible because time has flown by. And then uh Shanti Sound just celebrated the fourth anniversary of being open. And there wasn't a place that I found. Um, and to go back to your question for a moment, I was going every Sunday because that's all I could find. Um, I knew that was going to be on the schedule every Sunday. That was my one hour of the week that I could go in there and disconnect from everything that was going on and go to a different place in my mind. And so I was going every Sunday. And then I looked around as I got trained and I started making appearances and I started, you know, spreading the word by Instagram account. And I got a mind-body account so that I could have a sign-up software wherever I was appearing or renting space. But what I came to realize as I dove into it, and it became such a critical part of my life, and it became my mission, which I very clearly found out as I was continuing to do the healing work on myself, that became crystal clear that this is your mission, this is why you're here, this is what you're supposed to be doing, which thankfully answered a lifelong question that I did not have an answer to. There wasn't a place where you could sign up for a regular sound healing session every week and count on and go to. So that's why I opened. And here we are, four years later. And um, there are lots of people that are embracing it and using it as part of their healing work.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. And you have positioned it even to go broader and bigger.

Sound Healing Meets Corporate Wellness

SPEAKER_00

You position it to go bigger, really, and taking it to the corporate wellness space, which I love. Just to your point, there are a lot of individual opportunities for sound healing locally and beyond. Um, but rarely do you see a place where you can just go sign up and drop in as a class on a weekly basis. And so I love that you provide that. And it's such a freeing space to have men and women, by the way. It's not just women. So, all you men who think that it you would feel uncomfortable there, it's not. There are just as many men as well, sometimes. So, yeah, now you're on even the corporate world back again. How funny that is that it's almost full full circle, but now you're in the healing space in the corporate wellness. So speak more to that. Yes. Okay.

SPEAKER_03

This is this is so cool. Because I had many friends, especially women in the construction industry, design industry, architecture. Um, I always wanted to expand into corporate wellness just because corporate wellness is trending. And Scottsdale happens to be a place where a lot of companies come to host conferences. So there's a lot of visitors coming from out of town, and I do get requests quite often from local companies too, of course, but a lot of people that are planning conferences. So there is more buzz about this. There is more interest in this. It's something anybody can do. I was asked by a friend of mine who is uh who is here in downtown Scottsdale, and she's a vice president of a big um leasing, you know, real estate, commercial real estate holdings, and and she's in the leasing side of it. And um she's a member of AZ Crew, Arizona Commercial Real Estate Women's Group, and it's a networking group. She uh reached out to me and said, we'd like to do a different kind of networking event, and we'd like to have it at your studio and like for you to have a sound bath for the guests. And this was in the middle of July, you know how it is around here. Umybody who can get out of here gets out of here in July. So they said, Well, we're not really sure what the turnout's gonna be, but you know, I said I can host up to 50 guests at my studio, and it sold out like two weeks before the event, and it was like July, middle of July, like July 16th. And so there were 50 women that came in, and some of them had done it before, some of them were brand new to it, and I made a lot of connections as a result of that networking event. And the next thing you know, I had the busiest August that I've ever had in my career in sound healing because I had construction company representatives reaching out to me, and I've hosted about five or six different construction companies, which is so full circle because I used to work with those companies all the time. I was in project management and working with those companies, building their buildings. And um, so it has come full circle in a really cool way.

SPEAKER_00

I love these moments. I'm like smiling ear to ear because it's very similar. It mirrors a lot of my uh journey as well, starting off on health and wellness. Of course, my background is in, you know, competitive sports and everything. And then going from that space to real estate, so similar, you know, within the real estate arena, and then back into the health and wellness, so to speak, right? It's such a beautiful process and understanding of the duality in both industries. And I feel maybe you'll agree to this or not, that it's sharpened myself as a leader because I know so intimately what it's like to grind and grind and burn out and not take care of yourself. And so I really feel that there's um, we have this pulse that a lot of other maybe leaders or practitioners don't understand because they've either only been in the healing space and not necessarily the business side. Um, but when you have both of those under your belt and really a firm understanding, I feel like it, I don't know about you, but I feel like it really helps me show up as a better leader and practitioner in this space. Yes.

SPEAKER_03

And when I'm in a group environment like that and I'm giving the introduction, I will share that I've been where you are. I know how you feel. I know what it's like to be chronically stressed and closing big deals. And in these high stress and high pressure meetings, the deliverables in the construction industry are loaded with risk. Um and and so much money is at stake. The competition is so fierce. So there are so many things that can keep you up at night, um, no matter what industry you're in. Um, when it becomes your entire life, you know, people aren't taking time off to go on vacations. They're not going to the gym. So much gets sacrificed, not only in the construction industry, but across the board, you know, finance or or medical, whatever it is. But I, my personal experience was just that that was a level of stress that I had not experienced before because of the extreme amount of competition and the stakes were very high. The size of the projects that you were going after to win were so huge that it made a difference between people being able to uh have a job or not. Because it's a multi-layered project, you know, one one project that gets won means that there's several people that now have a job for the next few months. But yeah, I share that with them all the time. I say I know what it's like to feel the stress and the pressure that you're feeling every day from from my own experience.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's important for others to be able to really resonate with that. Like you don't understand, you don't know what we go through. Oh, we know. Yeah, we know. And just in general, being a business owner, an entrepreneur, there's such a level of stress that rarely gets spoken about. Um, you know, it's up to you. It no one's coming to save you. You gotta show up, you gotta figure it out. And that alone is, you know, and if it's Itself can be very stressful.

SPEAKER_03

That was part of my healing journey. I years ago would never have imagined owning my own business. Others on the outside would say, you should own your own business. You know, you'd be great owning your own business. And inside, I was like, what? I don't have the confidence for that. What in the world would I do? I was comfortable working for someone else because of the fears that I had that went back so long in my life. But yeah, nobody is coming to save you when you when you start out, and especially when you start out in an arena modality like sound healing that most people still don't understand. It's so ancient and it goes back to every culture thousands and thousands of years ago because of the scientific nature of it. And we are definitely moving into a time where it's going to be a regular part of healing. I I really and truly believe that. But getting to this point, starting your own business, believing in yourself, knowing that the end result is there, but it comes with belief long before the proof shows up. Um it's it's it's been a heck of a journey. And I'm so proud of myself and and um and and so excited that I took the risk when I did because I knew that this day was coming. I knew that this was only going to become more visible out there in the public as people start to turn a different eye and take a harder look at what isn't working in my life. Um, what am I trying to heal from? And why aren't the things that I'm doing working? This this can absolutely start to change course with anything that might be going on with an individual.

SPEAKER_00

I echo all that. And we're seeing it so much right now, just through every aspect. Everyone is at a place, I believe, where it's it's it's divided now. It's either you're turning your back and you're hoping it goes away, or you're going, um, something's not right here anymore. Like we need to figure things out and look at this with a totally different lens. And so I see, at least in my arena and my environment, the people that I hang out with, everyone is waking up more and more and more and really taking a really like good look at what does the next chapter of this life really look like?

Owning Your Healing Story

SPEAKER_03

It takes a lot of bravery. Yeah. Because we have been so programmed into the belief that when something goes wrong, then you go to someone else that you don't even know and doesn't know you, and you hand over all your power to that person or that practice saying, Hey, fix me. But that is all really, it has to come from within. You have to be able to be brave enough to say, this isn't working. I need to make changes. It is still all too easy for people to say, I don't have time for that. I just want a pill for that. I and I and I get that. And I I I did that too. You know, I went and and said, I I need something, I need to take something, I need a pill, I need, I need a fix because it was so scary to say, you know what, I've got to get to the bottom of this. And I know that getting to the bottom of this means going and facing some really, really hard things and and peeling the onion back of what what happened, what happened to you. You know who Gabor Mate is, Dr. Mate? Oh, yeah, absolutely. So his works were very life-changing for me because he wrote a book over 20 years ago called When the Body Says No, exploring the stress-illness connection. And he made scientific correlations between different illnesses and behavioral patterns and the way that people grew up and the stresses and the traumas and the grief and the and the different environments that they were in and things that they went through, and how those translated into different diseases. And that was really shocking and eye-opening for me because not only is he an MD who's, you know, 80 years old or close to 80 years old, and had lived in that entire world of being the guy in the white coat that you didn't question, to really starting to ask questions to people. Like that he would ask a question to his patients that no one had ever asked before. And he would say, Tell me what your life was like before you got sick. So we have to examine each and every one of us, what was it in my life that contributed to me getting sick? Because it's not just diet and it's not just stress, and it's not just fluorescent lights, and it's not just uh any one thing. It's a it's a combination of what was the story of your life up until this point, and how did that contribute?

SPEAKER_00

Thank you for sharing all of that. And you can change it at any given time. I think this is the one missing link that most people forget is that they become a slave, a victim to their old story, that I was raised in this environment. I experienced X amount of abuse, I had X going on. Like there's always a victim mindset or victimhood attached to that story, which is keeping them stuck and looping and will constantly keep them in that space until they finally realize that the cage they have put themselves in, that they've built themselves in, they can open the door at any given time and take the step out of it and experience freedom. What does that look like? Maybe attending a sound healing class on a Sunday or whatever day that looks like. Maybe going into a retreat setting, you know, to go deeper and inward and figure out all those things that they're still carrying. So we have solutions. There's an outlet for all of it. It's just really opening the door and understanding that you are the solution and you are also holding yourself hostage in many ways as well. So we're seeing a lot of that. I do want to touch on um something that you brought up about you, you just mentioned it just a little bit ago about um a practice. And we we've spoken on this off camera at uh coffee a couple of weeks ago on the industry and integrity and how it's not all the same. Some are operating with a higher standard and some are not. And we're watching parts of the healing space go through exposure as a whole, the wellness space, all of it, and not just individuals, but the systems enabling them. To me, that signals gaps in structure and accountability.

Integrity Standards In Wellness Work

SPEAKER_00

From your perspective, where are the real blind spots? And if this industry is going to mature, what standards are overdue?

SPEAKER_03

You have to stay humble. If you are dedicating your life to healing work and educating people so that they can embrace sound healing or breath work or Reiki or any of those modalities that are now, you know, starting to slowly become mainstream, which are ancient practices. This isn't anything new. These are old ancient modalities that are now becoming popular in modern day consciousness. But as I mentioned to you before, when I said if that can do what it did for me in one hour, then everybody needs to know about this. I really meant it. I am not doing this to, I'm not doing this because I thought, oh my God, nobody else is doing this the way I'm doing it. I can make so much money doing this. It was never, it was never about that. It was this helped me on a profound healing journey that changed everything about my life. And I want you to be helped by it too. You have to separate the ego, you know, and I think that's difficult for people. Wherever this takes me, it is going to be in service to other people. I mean, I enjoy the fact that we're here on this podcast today and that that four years have gone by and I continue to be able to be more successful and reach more people and um and do events and um and and get the the the praise and the thanks and and all those things that that come along with it. But but this is about education. This is about helping people. And this is, I think where you're going with this is you know, there there have been some people who've become quite quite egotistical or maybe, you know, started to think that that their leadership put them in a a different place uh above where they used to be or above other people. And um, and that's understandable and it's kind of the human condition because we were, you know, we we grew up and were raised by uh celebrity worship, uh, those kinds of things, like you know, people who have millions of dollars, they're special or different. Everyone is special, everyone has a purpose here. No one is here by accident. But this is about helping people and about service, first and foremost.

SPEAKER_00

Always. And I I feel that is exactly what I was, you know, whether we're looking at um the demise of, you know, the glorified online Instagram guru, the spiritual gurus, we're seeing it across the board, what's going on right now. And we we pedestal a lot of these people. And I feel that that's one thing we need to start teaching others is not to pedestal these spiritual gurus, these Reiki masters, these practitioners, and bringing it down to a humanized level. That, you know, as to you, what you said about ego, like taking the ego out. And but as a leader, if you do decide to open a business, to put yourself in a leadership role, because essentially that's what it is, whether you're a business owner or you host retreats or whatever that looks like. If you're a coach, you're an online voice for wellness and healing, you do have to set yourself to a higher standard if integrity is part of your core values and all those things. I just feel that a lot of people lose sight of that and basically inadvertently or or not, try to become the go-to resource for someone's healing, as opposed to teaching and educating the process. Does that make sense? It does.

SPEAKER_03

And that's part of my outreach too. I don't think about this as being any kind of competition. The academy that I graduated from had been around for over 20 years when I went through the program, when sound healing wasn't, at least to my knowledge, even known about, except for in the yoga community or the meditation community, whatever that community looked like. Um I I had no idea about it until eight or nine years ago. So, yes, I have built a business and I'm excited about where it's going. But again, people ask me, where did you get your training? Where can I, where can I learn this? And I'm absolutely, I pass on the information. I encourage them to get online and get enrolled in the online school.

Training Others And Growing Community

SPEAKER_03

I noticed that when I completed my training, part of my training was a five-day in-person workshop. I went to the Midwest for that workshop. That's just happened to be where it was being hosted in the summertime in 2019. And I went to Iowa and I did the five-day workshop with my trainer at the time. And I noticed that they were doing workshops in several places in the United States, but none in Phoenix. And I'm like, why in the world are there no in-person training workshops through this incredible world-class program in Phoenix? So I reached out to her right away when I was signing the lease before I even had opened the studio space. And I said, hey, I'm opening a sound bath, a sound healing meditation and holistic event space. That's what it's called, because I wanted to build community, because I wanted to spread awareness and education, because I wanted people to embrace sound healing. But also now we have workshops there several times a year. And people come from all over Arizona and other places to do these training workshops. And people will ask me after class, how can I get involved? How can I get trained? And I encourage it because we live in an abundant universe. There's more than enough to go around. You know, this is the more the more of us there are, the more we can change the vibration of the collective, the planet, because that is where we're going.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. And that's why you're always going to keep growing and evolving and succeeding in what you do, because you're you have truly a leadership of heart. Like you're, you are. You want everyone to rise together and to succeed. And you're an amazing collaborator. Well, one thing I love about you so much is um at your holistic event space, at your, you know, here at Shanti Sound, you constantly are bringing in other practitioners and collaborating with them or allowing them just to host their own meditation or event or session. And I love that so much because it truly amplifies what community is all about. It's not about Carrie, it's about the bigger picture and what Shanti San and what you've built it to be and provided a platform for so many people to come and explore their gifts and use their voice and to really have a ripple effect to help others locally and beyond. So I really applaud you for that. Thank you.

SPEAKER_03

Well, since you put it that way, I didn't really think about that before, but the the point was to open a sound healing meditation and holistic event space to build community and also to increase awareness about these different healing modalities. So yeah, the Reiki events and the breathwork events and the intuitive healing events, I have to admit, you know, the first couple of years, I was still building my own confidence. So I tended to spotlight those other collaborators a little bit more until it was kind of brought to my attention and and I and I I realized it myself that, you know, why am why am I hiding in the background? Um, that had to do with my uh personal life at the time. So there were some things that were kind of holding me back in in uh my personal life at that time, which is it's quite different now. Um also it was a confidence thing. So as my confidence grew, I was concerned about the intuitive healing events. I was concerned about the psychic medium stuff. I was concerned about is the public ready for this? I'm ready for it. I dive into that stuff all the time. That that is where I do most of my healing work in the spiritual realm, the energetic realm, the higher self realm. But I was a little bit concerned about like, how much are we gonna put out there? Um, but then I started meeting more people that were coming into my life, which is not a coincidence, that read Akashic Records that were highly intuitive healers. And um, so we just started putting these events together and they are becoming more and more popular. And there are people who um come in that are receiving um medical treatment, you know, mainstream medical treatment that are supplementing their healing journeys with these other things. Um, there are some people who are leaving the more traditional means because they've they've tried everything and it wasn't working and they they had to learn that this is something within myself that needs to be worked on, that needs to be healed from healed from. And as I do the inner work, then the outer, the the outer health, the outer uh healing from the physical ailments is going to is going to happen. But yeah, that thing, thank you, thank you for saying that because I I never, I don't, I don't think of it as like I'm I'm really like a groundbreaking leader. I don't think of myself that way, but um, but it's it's grown. I could never have imagined or known what it was gonna turn into. I just knew I had to do it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you listen to that nudge, that voice. And I think that's the most important part of the whole journey. And it just for me, it just I smile because I just been part of this for so long, my entire life. And it's my journey has changed, as you know. My story has shifted. And and it's it's not ever wrong or right, right? It's everyone has their own story and their own journey and how that evolves and expands over the years. And so I I I love it all. And I think it's just it's such a wonderful space to provide for others, to allow them the freedom to seek and expand in their own way.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So thank you for that. Well, we're gonna shift gears here for a moment.

with? Come try a sound bath.

SPEAKER_03

It's easy, it's inexpensive. Anyone can do it, regardless of physical ability. All you have to do is try it.

SPEAKER_00

All right. And I will have all of the information in our show notes. If today's conversation resonated, Carrie will be joining me live this April at the Paradise Valley Elite Experience. It's a retreat we're doing for a four-day immersion, and we'll be guiding two powerful sessions designed to help you release subconscious blocks at the cellular level through sound frequency and deep and a deep internal reset with hypnosis and guided meditations. And of course, this is not service level. We go real deep and you will feel it in your body. It's a transformation that integrates into your nervous system. So if you're ready for that kind of shift, click the link in the show notes and join us. And for more on Carrie and her lovely studio, Shanti Sound, here in Scottsdale, Arizona, please click the link. Thank you so much for being here. Thank you. I really enjoyed this. Me too.
